LAMONTAGNE SIGNS CONTRACT FROM AMERICA

Manchester, N.H.—Ovide Lamontagne, Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in New Hampshire, today announced signing the Contract From America, a grassroots legislative blueprint for conservative economic reform for 2010 and beyond.
“I am proud to sign the Contract From America and honored to be joining other stalwart conservative candidates for office who are ready to go to Washington to stand up to big government, fight the special interests and establishment, and institute fundamental conservative reform,” said Lamontagne.
“The Contract From America reflects the conservative principles I am committed to upholding. Let us not forget the unique and unparalleled foundation upon which this great nation was founded— recognizing that man is born with certain God-given rights and that power is delegated by the people to government; government has no power of its own except those expressly granted to it by the people.
“Further, I believe that the Constitution is a limiting document not a living document. Many of the points in the Contract From America are reaffirmed in Ovide’s Oath, my 15-point pledge to New Hampshire voters to deliver conservative change to Washington, which is posted on my website.”
